Obituary for Betty Lou Marschik (McMillion)
Betty L. Marschik (nee McMillion), 83 of Rockville, MD passed away on February 3, 2020 at Shady Grove Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of the late Herman F. Marschik, Jr.
She was born December 31, 1936 in Lewisburg, WV the daughter of the late George McMillion and the late Marie L. McMillion (nee Summerfield).
Betty worked Suburban Hospital as a Financial supervisor for 50 years. She enjoyed Shopping, Cooking, Crabbing and RVing.
She is the mother of Michael Bart and the late Pam Langan. Also survived by her sister Nancy Eckrich. Grandmother of Bradley Swift and Kristina Bart, and great grandmother of Braden and Genevieve Swift.
Preceded in death from Bernice Kirkpatrick, George McMillion, Clarence McMillion and Charlotte Jess.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School). Where funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1 PM.
Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
