I was so blessed to have Sandy for a friend from the mid 1960's. We met through the elementary school where our sons were in classes in Barstow, Ca. We clicked right away and so did our husbands. Her mom and grandma visited us when they came to Barstow. Later on, she urged me to join the church she went to and so my sons and I did. Free Methodist Church of Barstow. Many happy times there and Sandy loved the Lord! She taught me to also love the Lord. When I moved from Barstow in 1976, we stayed in touch through Christmas cards and phone calls. She remarried and moved to Maryland with her husband Chuck and 3 children. We kept sending those Christmas cards, After her husband passed away, she moved to Delaware. Sandy had a beautiful home there and I was privileged to visit her there in 2013. While there we also got to visit with her daughter Julie and son John who lived in Maryland and both have amazing homes. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. I will always cherish her friendship and love. Rest in Paradise sweet Sandy!! I will always love you!!
