Charles Swope Via, age 73, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Shady Grove Hospital.
Charles was the husband of Nila Maria Via (nee Ambrogi).
Charles was born July 30, 1945 in Hagerstown, MD, the son of the late Charles Adam John Via and the late Helen B. (nee Swope) Via.
Charles was employed by the Federal Government; he loved doing home improvements projects at home and for his kids and grandkids. He loved building models and reading books.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters Anne, Julie and Cheryl. He has 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He also has 3 precious dogs.
