Obituary for Christian Harbom
Christian Harbom, 39, of Mount Airy, Maryland, beloved husband, father, son, and brother passed away on May 1, after a battle with cancer.
Christian was born on November 20, 1982 to Knud and Helene Harbom in Columbia, Maryland. After Christian graduated with honors from The Gow School in 2000, he went on to study at WyoTech and The Rochester Institute of Technology.
Following his graduation, Christian founded Ground Groomers LLC, a business that he built from the ground up.
In 2009 Christian married Melani Winther Harbom. Christian and Melani went on to have three children, Axel, Matias, and Mia.
Christian is survived by his wife, children, sister, and parents.
Services will be held Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at 1pm at the St. James Episcopal Church, located at 1307 N Main St, Mt Airy, MD 21771
The service will be followed by a celebration of Christian’s life at the Pfefferkorn Farm, located at 2815 Pfefferkorn Road, West Friendship, Maryland 21794.
The celebration will feature live music, food and drink, and good times for all, just as Christian would have wanted it. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
