Obituary for Christian James Koch
Christian James Koch, age 28, of Sykesville, MD died Sunday, December 4, 2022, in Frederick, MD.
He was the loving son of John V. Koch III and Donna M. Koch and the devoted brother of Schuyler E. Koch. Christian was born May 29, 1994, in Baltimore, MD.
He was employed with Northrop Grumman at the Sykesville facility. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather.
Christian graduated from Century High School class 2012. He had a passion for lacrosse, playing for Freedom Rec, Century, CMD and Roughriders lacrosse clubs, college, and most recently as a member of the Westminster Wild indoor box lacrosse team. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding 4 wheelers, time with the family dog Gypsy, and hanging out with friends, especially his best friend Brady Sipes. In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by his paternal grandmother as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD, 21784.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Private interment.
