Obituary for Cynthia Susan "Cindy" Silverman
Cynthia “Cindy” Susan Silverman, age 62 of Finksburg, MD passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 surrounded by her husband and two daughters.
She was born January 1, 1959, in Maryland the daughter of Harry N. Cadwell and the late Helen D. Boone.
Cindy met her husband Wayne in 1984 while working at the business next door. They remained companions from that point on. Together they had two daughters, Chelsea and Hannah. Being a mother and wife were her proudest accomplishments.
The simple pleasures in life brought joy to Cindy, she loved drinking wine with her girlfriends on a Saturday night, sitting on her back porch listening to the rain, and of course spending as much time as possible at her beach house. Her dogs were family and walking them at Northside Park was one of her favorite activities at the beach. Cindy adored her family and weekends were filled with a full home of people, love, and laughter.
Cindy’s friendly personality was contagious to everyone she met; she will forever be remembered for that. She is survived by her husband, Wayne H. Silverman; daughters, Chelsea N. Bertucco and husband Bobby, Hannah L. Hunter and husband Brandon; Granddaughter, Aubrey H. Bertucco; brother, John E. Cadwell & companion Michele Roche and sister Donna L. Krownzer and many family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy J. “Doje” Cadwell.
Cindy will be honored with a memorial service on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 2 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Mask are required at the funeral home.
