Obituary for Danette Lynn "Dannie" Kirkner
Danette “Dannie” Lynn Kirkner, age 55, of Westminster, MD, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 9th, 2023.
Born April 4, 1967, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Rose and Albert Kirkner.
Also surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Chiara and Adrian Banks of Westminster; grandson, Theodore Banks of Westminster; sister, Emma Kirkner of Chocowinity, NC; step-mother, Sybil Kirkner of Chocowinity, NC; former spouse, Erik Burgan of Westminster, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dannie was known for her gregarious personality and welcoming nature. She enjoyed making funnel cakes at Winfield Carnival, bingo nights, and socializing with family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Her personality shined wherever she went, and she will be missed by many.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon with A Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 12:00 Noon; with a luncheon to follow all at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
