Debra “Drew” Burton of Owings Mills, MD passed on April 21, 2020. She was born on April 13, 1956, the youngest of 5 children of Alice O. & Donald J. Burton.

She was a graduate of Mt. DeSales Academy. Her career began at Bethlehem Steel and moved into the pharmaceutical industry where she remained for 26 years. In 2004 she and her life partner Susan opened their long-time dream, Alices’ A Moment In Time Cafe in Reisterstown. She and Susan began their lives together in 1996 and spent most of their time in Owings Mills, MD.

After fighting her way back from a massive stroke in 2009 she went on to live an amazing life filled with the love of family and friends. She enjoyed daytrips and sharing precious moments with family.

She leaves behind her life partner, Susan Jones, two stepdaughters, Shelly Edwards and Tammy Schneider and their spouses along with two grandsons, Zach & Andy Schneider who brought sunshine to her life from the day they were born. She also leaves behind a loving sister, Rosalie Ballis. She will be missed dearly.

There will be a memorial service for immediate family at a later date.
