Obituary for Donna Lynn Fitzwater
Donna Lynn Fitzwater , age 63 , of New Windsor, Maryland; passed away on, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Bridging Life Hospice in Westminster.
She was born April 4, 1959, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Jack and Lorraine Fitzwater.
She attended Highland View Academy and received her GED in 1981.
She worked at Woolworth Department Store in the diner, was a corrections officer in Jessup, worked for Random House, Buttersberg Inn, and IHOP in Westminster. She loves being a server and many of her customers would wait to be seated in her section. She loved to cook and bake; Flower gardens were a favorite thing to relax, and she loved finding a new variety of flower bulbs to plant.
Surviving her is Larry Devilbiss the love of her life and her Partner for 40 + years of New Windsor, Daughter Diane Devilbiss of New Windsor, son Cody Devilbiss of West Virginia, Grandchildren Brennen, Lynnzie, Cole, Skyler, Hailee, and Carter. She is also survived by Sisters Doris Bowen of Littlestown, PA and Carole Spielman of New Windsor, and Brother Darrin Fitzwater of Finksburg and much-loved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2022, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM when funeral services will take place at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 at 12:30 PM
