Obituary for Duncan Shannon Hobby

Duncan Shannon Hobby of Eldersburg, Maryland, born March 22, 2000, died tragically from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on July 5, 2020. Duncan was a bright, witty, kind, and giving soul who is loved by many and will be dearly missed by his family and large circle of friends. Duncan was employed in the family business, Ductwork Express. He also held a part time job at Big Belly Deli which is owned by The Bredens, life long family friends. He was an Eagle Scout and outdoor enthusiast who loved camping, hiking, his motorcycle, weaponry, and gaming. Duncan is survived by his loving family, parents Craig Hobby and Connie Shannon, and brothers Dillan and Devin of Eldersburg, grandparents Phyllis and Grady Hobby of Eldersburg, grandmother Diane Shannon of Westminster, uncle Eddie Hobby and partner Cheryl Gregor, cousins Brian and Chris Hobby of Taylorsville, aunt Kelley Shannon and spouse John Goodwin, cousins Delaney, Darby and Owen Shannon Goodwin of Eldersburg, uncle Keith Shannon and partner Chrissy Staats of Manassas, Virginia, aunt Allison Schiech and spouse Eric of Timonium, and a large extended family. He is predeceased by his grandfather Stephen Shannon of Baltimore.
