Fred William “Bill” Gaines, III of Eldersburg, MD
Passed May 7, 2023. Bill was born March 14, 1975 in Baltimore, MD
The Beloved son of Donna C. Evans and the late Fred William “Sonny” Gaines, Jr.
Devoted brother of Jennifer L. Weber and her husband Robert A. Weber, Jr. Dear uncle of Drake A. Weber and Chase R. Weber. Survived by numerous cousins and other loving relatives as well as former spouse Lisa Ruffo Gaines and Bill’s step- son Colin Romanowski
He was a member of the Ocean City, MD Elks Lodge #2645. Bill lived to have a good time, He enjoyed fishing, cooking and playing Cornhole, He also loved US history particularly WWII. His grandfather was the recipient of two Purple Heart medals and he was very proud of his family’s contribution to the armed services. Bill worked at Frito-Lay for many years and during that time, formed numerous lasting friendships. He greatly enjoyed his time there. He also ran a deli in Baltimore which enabled him to share his skill and love of cooking with others in the community.
The family will receive friends for Visitation Friday, May, 12, 2023 11 AM to 12 noon with a Celebration of Life Service to take place immediately following at 12 noon at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 with a Reception to follow in the funeral home’s Multi-Purpose Room.
