Herschel Wesley Pickett, Jr., age 85, of Westminster, MD, died Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Carroll Hospice, Inc.-Dove House in Westminster.
He was born August 31, 1935 in Woodbine, Carroll County, Maryland, the son of the late Herschel Wesley Pickett, Jr. and Doris Ruby Welsh Pickett
He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing; member of the Westminster Moose Lodge #138 in Westminster, MD; he
attended Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Ellicott City, MD., and worked on Harrison Farm and was a painter.
Father of Neil Pickett, Dale Pickett and Janalynn Hassell; Brother of Carl, Kenny, Donald and Russell Pickett, Mary Jeannette Cooper, Jeannette Riggleman, Evelyn Stone and Darlene Plank.
Predeceased by Brothers Leonard, Pete, and David Pickett.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday, March 8. 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM at which time of Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Crompton.

Private family inurnment at a later date at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Woodline, and Bethel Roads.
