Obituary for Jason Thompson
Jason Edward Thompson, 51, of Mount Airy, MD passed away on Sunday July 24, 2022.
Born on February 10, 1971, in Montgomery County, MD, he was the son of Clinton W. Thompson and the late Irene K. Rexroth Thompson.
He graduated from Linganore High School, class of 1989 and later received a Bachelors Degree in Music from Florida International University. He enjoyed many years as a gig musician playing guitar and as a vocalist. He also excelled in the fields of construction and landscaping.
Surviving, in addition to his father are brothers Eric W. Thompson and wife Karen, of Wilmington, N.C., Greg S. Thompson and wife Joan, of Coral Springs, FL., Brian E. Jordan and wife Sherry, of Ellicott City, Md, Craig A. Jordan, of Mount Airy, Md, and sister Lisa M. Jordan (George) of Westminster, MD ; nieces and nephews; Julie, Steven, Travis, Noah and Emma; and Aunt Judy Rexroth Steckel. He is predeceased by his stepmother Mary E. Thompson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Monday September 26, 2022, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 9190 Church St., Libertytown, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
