Obituary for Lael Lucille Henry (Yeater)

Lael Lucille (Yeater) Henry, 66, of Sykesville, MD formerly of Clarksburg, WV, died Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her home.

She was the spouse of Benjamin A. Henry.

She was born October 6, 1956, in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of James Paul Yeater and Lillian Lucille Yeater.

She was a vascular technician at many offices and hospitals in the Baltimore area. She was a graduate and instructor at the Medix School in Towson, Maryland. She loved her dogs, grandkids, travel, and her dear friends. She was a member of Elders Baptist Church.

Surviving her are Husband, Benjamin A. Henry. Daughter and Son-in-law- Heather and Steve Johnston of Catonsville, Maryland. Son and Daughter-in law- Raymond and Laura Henry of Sykesville. Aunt- Dorothy Elbon of Cape Coral, FL, Niece- Ashley Alascia of Baltimore, Maryland. Cousin and wife Carter and Connie Elbon of Cape Coral, FL. Grandchildren: Thomas and Emma Alascia, Anna and Olivia Johnston, and Abigail and Brooks Henry.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 25th at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road. Winfield, MD, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 26th at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, and Crematory. PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road. Winfield, MD 21784 at 11 am with the Reverend James Edmonson officiating.

Graveside services will follow the funeral service at Lake View Memorial Park.

Donations can be made to the National Institute of Cancer (NIH), or Elders Baptist Church. Lael was a devout Baptist and believed with unyielding faith. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding, seek his will with all you do, and he will show you what to do.” Proverbs 3: 5-6
