Obituary

Margaret G. Brocato, 91 of Baltimore, MD passed away on July 9, 2020.
She was the loving wife of the late Michael A. Brocato
She was born July 20, 1928 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late August Andrew Mark and the late Margaret Schuman.
Margaret was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran church in Hamilton, MD. She also volunteered at Keswick retirement community and she loved to bake.
She is survived by her daughter Caroline Brocato and son-in-law Thomas G. Burke, Sr. Also survived by her grandson David Shaulis & spouse Gabrielle Shaulis, step-grandson Thomas G. Burke, Jr. & spouse Sarah Burke, step-grandson Adam Burke, and great grandchildren Harrison & Eva Burke.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made Bethlehem Lutheran Church 4815 Hamilton Ave, Baltimore, MD 21206 or Target Community & Educational Services Inc. 111 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157

Margaret was such a kind and considerate great grandmother to Harrison and Eva. They loved getting cards from her... and were made to feel so special by all of those thoughtful gestures. I'm very sad we won't be able to see Margaret again, but she will always be remembered and celebrated by us as a very special lady.

Dear Caroline,
I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. I have many vivid, happy memories of you and her, and growing up across the street from you. Margaret was a true friend to my family, and someone Mr. Rogers would call a Helper.
