Obituary for Michael Wayne "Mike" Slick
Michael “Mike” W. Slick, 54 of Sykesville, MD passed away Thursday, May 19 ,2022 at his home.
He was the husband of Sally Ann Slick (nee Bogan).
He was born May 3, 1968, in Olney, MD the son of Ida Slick (nee Gearhart) and the late Lester Clifton Slick.
He worked for different companies including Home Depot, Lowes, and Phoenix Mecano. He enjoyed his guns and reloading his ammunition.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are his stepchildren Suzy & husband Jeff Summers, Sam & wife Casey Caudill, and Tom Meighan and his significant other Theresa. Survived by his siblings Lester Slick & wife Melody, Clifton Slick & wife Ann, Bill Slick and wife Denise, Jim Slick & wife Jennette. He was the grandfather of Matthew & Peyton Summers, and Hunter, Colton, and Lilly Caudill. Also survived by his nieces and nephews Lester III, Samantha, Jenny, Zach, Chasity, Aylin, and Ashly.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
Graveside service will be on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11 AM at True Gospel Cemetery 15930 North Avenue Lisbon, MD 21765.
