Obituary for Nichole Ashley "Nikki " Laufert, RN
Nichole Ashley “Nikki” Laufert, RN, age 26, of Beaver, WV., formerly of Westminster, MD., died suddenly on Thursday, April 30, 2020.
Nikki was born April 4, 1994 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Anthony Gerard Laufert and Kandi Kay Stettmeier Laufert of Westminster, MD.
Born and raised in Maryland, Nikki attended Winters Mill High School, and Marshall University and St. Mary’s School of Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse for CAMC-Women and Children’s ER in Charleston, WV, where she achieved her goal of working with children at the hospital.
Nikki loved her pets, including cat Fruitloop, her dogs Onyx and Sadie, and the late Piper who she watches over now. She very much enjoyed Dog Grooming, and crafting projects with her Cricut.
Surviving in addition to her parents are Brother Kyle Laufert of Westminster, grandparents Ken and Nancy Stettmeier of Westminster; Alma Laufert of Reisterstown, Niece of Ron and Kim Schulte of Whitehall, MD, and Paul and Val Laufert of Westminster; Cousins Allison and Stephanie Laufert of Westminster, Craig and Caitlin Schulte of Nashville, TN and Cody Schulte of Whitehall, MD; and Uncle and Aunt Howard Kenneth III and Debbie Stettmeier and family of Arkansas.
Private Catholic Prayers will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., LIVE STREAM of the funeral will begin at 11:00 AM. www.burrier-queen.com.
