Ralph “Buck” David Hoff, 81 of Westminster
Passed suddenly April 11, 2021 of Non-Covid related cause.
Beloved husband of Barbara Lee Green Hoff
Born November 27, 1939 in Westminster, MD the son of the late Charles E. Sr. and Hilda M. Niner Hoff
He was co-owner and operator of Hoff Brothers Lumber LLC. He was a Charter Member of Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department. His favorite hobby was working firewood with his son and son-in-law. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, hunting, watching sports and sitting on his front porch watching his farm.
Devoted father of Dale and Ellen Hoff, Donna and David Zepp. Dear brother of Raymond and Ginny Hoff, James Hoff, Charlotte Ogle, Larry and wife Diane Hoff. Preceded in death by numerous other siblings. Loving grandfather of Elly and Jacob Arbaugh, Reggie and Laura Hoff, Amanda Zepp, David “DJ” Zepp, Jr. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren Hunter, Emma, Lane, Lloyd, Weston, Clayton, Mina, Ada, Sicily, and Kade.
Masks must be worn and social distancing observed for the viewing and the funeral service.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 14, 2021 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM with a Fire Department Memorial Service 7 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home Thursday, April 15, 2021 10 AM. Interment Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
