Obituary for Reese V. Bean III

Reese V. Bean III, 78, of Finksburg, MD sadly passed away on March 3, 2023, after his courageous battle with cancer.

Born on January 28th, 1945, in Washington, DC, he was the son of predeceased Reese V Bean Jr. and Kathyrn (Mersch) Bean.

He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business. Reese’s professional career was always in transportation, working with Roadway, Preston, Jones, IML, his own companies Inner Harbor Warehouse and Preferred Transport, and then later as VP of Transportation and Sales at Overflo Warehouse with the Timmi Family - (which he considered his second family). He truly loved his work and co-workers so much he continually delayed retirement. When Reese wasn’t working or cutting grass, he loved spending his days on the golf course with his golfing buddies and planning golf trips to North Carolina. Reese was always up for meeting friends or making new ones at his local favorite restaurants. He loved spending time with his 5 grandchildren, cheering them on at their various events.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, partner, uncle, and friend. Reese is survived by his two daughters, Kim (Stephen) Prindle, Karen (Kenny) Parr, girlfriend Linda Eminizer, his 5 grandchildren; Kody, Trip, Tucker, Georgia and Jack, his siblings; William (Kerry) Bean, Robert (Kathy) Bean, Mary (Jim) Apperson and Gary Bean, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for all who loved Reese will be held at RockSalt Grill in Westminster, Md on Monday March 27, 2023 at 1pm. The family would like to welcome anyone to speak that has a story or memory they would like to share. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Wounded Warrior Project or to your favorite charity.
