Looking through the pictures of Richard as a child, it was wonderful to see the smile and the light in his eyes. It had been too long since we had seen that. There was so much promise and excitement for the future. I hope you found what you were looking for, peace and contentment. A part of my heart left with you as it did for your entire family. Much love. Aunt Lisa

I have such fond memories of you loving your “cordies”, dropping a cookie in the bassinet for Bryan when he was a baby, picnics in the backyard, playing cars and army in the sandbox, dad swinging with you in the hammock. What a wonderful time in our lives. You loved the maze at lariland, seeing Santa at nanny and pappy’s , helping your mom with the Christmas village. Every summer we’d watch the parade floats sitting on a sheet in nanny’s front yard. We had many talks about your dreams and what you wanted to do. I’m just so sorry you weren’t able to reach those dreams. RIP Richard and special love to my sister and her family. Aunt Jeanne

He was adored by his grandparents and he adored them. He drove them to doctor appointments, ran errands, took family pictures and converted them to movies so they could be enjoyed on tv. He was very helpful to foreign students and included them in holidays with his family. He loved Harvard and wrote to them when he was 10 and they wrote back and said they would love to talk to him when he was older. He truly was a genius and my heart is broken because he couldn't fulfill his dreams because of his illness. He worked at shock trauma in MD and the Blood Bank. He received several commendations for his excellent work.I know he is in heaven with his Pappy, but he will be forever missed by his Nanny.

I was in Elliott Vity with my boys when I met Richard. He was flying a drone. He allowed my boys to fly the drone and made their day. Although we only met a few times, I will miss him. I was sad to hear of his passing and am very sorry for his family.
