Obituary for Ryan Michael Crochunis

Ryan Michael Crochunis
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ryan Michael Crochunis on August 2nd, 2022. Ryan was born in Baltimore to Nathan and Bonnie (Kessler) Crochunis. Ryan was 16 years old and about to start his junior year at Liberty High School in Eldersburg, Maryland. He recently obtained his learner’s permit and was excited to learn how to drive. Ryan enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Baseball brought Ryan great joy for more than a decade, especially when he was playing catcher, often on the same team with his younger brother, Sean. He was an avid Orioles fan and a little league umpire. Ryan loved the beach, going fishing and recently began playing chess. He will be missed every day by all those who were lucky enough to know him.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Nathan and Bonnie; his brother, Sean; and his grandparents, Bill and Sheila Crochunis; Carol Hinton and Ron Abigail; and Mike and Linda Kessler. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
To honor Ryan’s memory, we invite family and friends to join us at Burrier Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
