Obituary for Sheila Darr (Stark)
Sheila Darr (nee Stark) 76 of New Windsor, MD formerly of Laurel, MD passed away at the Dove House on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Sheila was born May 16, 1947, in Washington, DC the daughter of the late Francis Stark and the late Maryetta Stark (nee Wirth).
Sheila retired from the Department of Defense at the Harry Diamond Laboratory. She enjoyed spending summers at Ocean City, and spending time with family.
She is survived by children: Lauren Tesoriero and husband Andy, Steven Darr and wife Laurie, as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Kristen Darr.
Friends may call on Monday, May 29 from 2:00 to 5:00 at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd, Winfield, MD 21784, with the funeral service starting at 5 PM (Beside South Carroll High School).
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dove House/Carroll Hospice at 292 Stoner Road Westminster, MD 21784.
