Obituary for Wanda Lee Rodriguez-Barros
Wanda Lee Rodriguez-Barros, age 71, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother of Westminster passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD.
Born on April 24, 1948, in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Carr and Mary Virginia Becraft Carr. She was the loving wife of Nelson Rodriguez-Barros of Westminster.
Wanda was a stay at home wife and mother. She loved to spend time with her family. She really enjoyed when all of her children and grandchildren were all together to celebrate the holidays. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Nothing made her happier than being a stay at home mother and spend that extra time with her children to watch and develop their early stages of life. In her younger days she loved to dance, shop, cook, and dine out. Some of her hobbies were listening to country music while doing word searches, playing electronic Yahtzee, and watching Hallmark movies and westerns with her husband.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children and their spouses: Nelson Wayne Rodriguez-Barros and Kerri Simms of Westminster, Heather M. Randall of Sykesville, Lisa D. and Evin McCarroll of Westminster, and Jenean L. and William Dearing of Westminster; and grandchildren Kendrick, Corey, Stephen, Jordan, Arianna, Makayla, Nevaeh, Lucas, Brendon, Mason, and Karlyee.
She was predeceased in death by her father Charles Carr, mother Mary Virginia Becraft Carr, and both of her sisters Shirley Mae Reaver, and Patricia Ann Whiteman.
Funeral services are PRIVATE. LIVESTREAMING OF THE FUNERAL will take place 11:00 AM at www.burrier-queen.com .
Interment is also PRIVATE in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD .
