Obituary for Warren L. "Tony " Esworthy

Warren L. “Tony” Esworthy, age 69, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, died Friday, August 5, 2022.

Tony was the Beloved husband of Mary C. Esworthy for 45 years.

He was born March 1, 1953, in Frederick, MD the son of the late Albert D. Esworthy and the late Dorothy V. Esworthy (nee Grim).

Tony was a retired Grocery Clerk, and Life Member of the Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company.

Devoted Father of Hilary L. Droneburg and husband Rocky and Heather Porter; loving grandfather of Emilee, Kristen, and Cole; brother of Wayne D. Esworthy and wife Jean; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; predeceased by one brother and three sisters.

Tony loved thunderstorms, foxes, watching Little League: or as he called them, “the Kids”, and so much more. He found humor in annoying others, especially loved ones, just to be funny. He was a strong individual who never lost his spirit and wit, no matter the challenges with which he was faced. He loved whole heartedly and made an impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, no matter how large or small that impact may be.

Special Thank You to Jill Rosner for all her help!
