Obituary for Warren Richard Sirk
Warren Richard Sirk, 70 of Walkersville, MD passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Peggy Lee Sirk (nee Offutt).
Warren was born August 30, 1951, at Montgomery General Hospital in Maryland the son of the late Raymond Warren Sirk and the late Jean Deloris Sirk (nee Satterwhite).
He graduated from Glenelg High School in 1970. Warren was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Digging and Rigging INC as a project estimator.
He also enjoyed fishing, camping, listening to music and being with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Warren Sirk & wife Chasity and Melissa Luther & husband Larry II. Grandfather of Kherstin Holste & husband David and Karissa Luther & boyfriend TJ Hines, Kayla Shipley & boyfriend Austin Mack. Great Grandfather of Axel and Rian. He is the brother to Linda Main and boyfriend Wayne with many nieces & nephews and friends. He was very close with his brother-in-law Douglas Offutt, Gary Holland and sister-in-law Ann Holland and good friend Shawn Morris, Shawn Roop , Albert and Debbie Porter. He was close with cousin Suzie Beatrice &Tony and nephew Keith Main and Becky and Adalynn. He really enjoyed working for Digging &Rigging and making them apart of his family.
Preceded in death by brother Michael Sirk and sister Brenda Hedlund.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 2-6 PM with a Celebration of Life service at 3 PM at The American Legion Woodsboro Post 282 101 W Elizabeth St, Woodsboro, MD 21798.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
